According to world bank statistics, in 2014, China leather machinery industry added value of $3.2 trillion, 220 kinds of industrial products ranked first in the world. Since 2011, China has become the first manufacturing country for five consecutive years .However, China leather machinery industry has a biggest problem , that is its independent innovation is very weak , worse, tannery machines have some problems in quality and the informationization level is low. 
Aiming at the disadvantage of "made in China" , the concerned expert analyze that China leather machinery industry is facing a "double squeeze". Analyzing internal factors, China's economy has been developed from a long period of rapid growth into the medium growth stage, the low-end industries has gradually lost competitiveness.the previous period of the pattern of economic development is unsustainable. 

From the external factors, Europe and America carry on the strategy of "industrialization", seeking to continue the lead in technology. They preempt the high-end manufacturing,
